I live on Fornebu and photograph weddings in Oslo and the surrounding area regularly. The city is my home turf, and I know the light, the locations and the logistics well.

Oslo is one of the most interesting cities in Norway for weddings, precisely because it holds so much variety in such a small space. From the Oslofjord to Marka, from the historic City Hall to modern Bjørvika, from urban cobblestones to forest clearings ten minutes from downtown. That gives a couple almost unlimited freedom in how they want their day to look.

For weddings in Oslo and the surrounding area there are no travel costs, and I don't need to arrange accommodation. That makes it easier to be flexible around meetings, site visits, and changes along the way in the planning.

Locations I know well

Every place in Oslo has its own character, and the light behaves differently depending on the time of day and season. Here are some of the locations I have experience with:

• The Opera House and Bjørvika: modern architecture, water, and a light that changes dramatically throughout the day
• Ekebergrestauranten and Ekeberg Sculpture Park: views over the city and one of Oslo's most beautiful settings for portraits
• Frognerparken and Vigelandsparken: classic, green, and works well nearly all year round
• Holmenkollen and Nordmarka: for couples who want forest and elevation rather than city
• Bygdøy and the Oslofjord: calm, close to nature, and perfect for outdoor ceremonies
• City Hall: civil ceremony with iconic surroundings

As a local, you avoid travel costs for the day itself. I can meet with you before the wedding without extra logistics, and I'm flexible on timing. For couples planning a destination wedding elsewhere in Norway, I can still be your photographer. Travel costs are agreed in advance.
