Calmly present, always ready with the camera — and a bit of laughter in my pocket

Hi, I’m Helge — and I photograph love the way it truly feels.

It all started with a puppy and a camera I barely knew how to use. Now — a few years, many festivals, and over a dozen weddings later — I stand firmly in a job that means more to me than I ever imagined.

For me, photography isn’t just about light and composition — it’s about being fully present. Really seeing people. Staying calm when nerves take over. Laughing together when the shoulders finally relax. I never show up as a stranger with a camera — but as a trusted presence, genuinely curious about who you are.

My favorite moment? When the couple says:

“We almost forgot you were there — but you caught everything.”

Or like Sara and Knut Håkon wrote after their wedding:
“Everyone praised you and how you worked as a photographer. We’re very, very happy with the photos — and we’ll recommend you to everyone we know. Great job!”

When I’m not photographing, you’ll probably find me with a cup of coffee in hand, caught in a conversation that turned deeper than expected — or dancing in the kitchen because life just feels extra good right then.
