Meisal Media (org. no. 928 659 984), run by Helge Meisal. Contact: foto@meisal.com
These terms apply to the sale of photography services and digital image deliveries to consumers. If you're purchasing as a business, they apply as far as relevant.
The price is stated in the offer and in the agreement you sign. All prices are in Norwegian kroner. The agreement is entered into once it's signed, and it describes what's included: coverage, what's delivered and when.
Payment is made via Vipps, card or bank transfer, according to what's stated on the invoice. A deposit is due upon entering the agreement and reserves the date. The remainder is due after the assignment, unless otherwise agreed in writing. In case of late payment, default interest accrues according to the Norwegian Default Interest Act.
You have a 14-day right of withdrawal for agreements entered into online, cf. the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act. The deadline runs from when you received the confirmation. If you wish to withdraw, it's enough to notify me in writing within the deadline.
Two exceptions are worth knowing about:
Cancellations outside the right of withdrawal follow the cancellation terms in your agreement.
Photos are delivered digitally via an online gallery, within the deadline stated in the agreement. Digital deliveries cannot be returned, but if something is wrong with the files, I'll fix it at no cost to you.
Albums and prints are made specifically for you based on your own selection, and can therefore not be returned, cf. section 22 letter c of the Right of Withdrawal Act. If a product arrives damaged or defective, I'll make a new one.
If something is wrong with the delivery, let me know as soon as you discover it, and no later than within two years, cf. the Norwegian Consumer Purchases Act. The error will be fixed, the delivery redone, or you'll receive a price reduction.
Complaints are sent to foto@meisal.com, and are normally answered within three business days. If we can't reach an agreement, you can bring the case to the Norwegian Consumer Authority or the Norwegian Consumer Council. If you're shopping from another EU/EEA country, you can use the European Commission's complaints portal.
Your personal data is processed in accordance with the privacy policy, and is only shared with those needed to deliver the assignment, such as payment provider and gallery service.
If the assignment becomes impossible to carry out due to circumstances beyond either of our control, we agree on a new date, or you get back what you've paid for the part not delivered.
