Vålerenga church and the evening at Smia

Alexander is a Vålerenga man. You found that out pretty quickly.

The preparations took place at Nina's home. A calm start, champagne at a comfortable pace, and the kind of energy that arises between people who have been close for a long time. The bridesmaid was there from the start.

Vålerenga church isn't the biggest church in Oslo. But the light is something else. Nina walked down the aisle with her father, and it was one of those moments where I was just glad to be there.

After the ceremony we took portraits in Gamlebyen and along Vålerenga-gata. It was Alexander's suggestion, and it suited the day well: everyday streets, autumn colors, and a couple who didn't need instructions.

The party was at Smia Galleri. The venue has character, with brick walls, art, and an atmosphere that doesn't need much decoration. Toward the end of the evening Nina threw the bouquet. No one knew who caught it, but everyone seemed fine with that anyway.
